I am extremely pleased with the responsiveness of this instrument! Due to the sensitive pick-ups, small changes in gain and/or EQ settings bring forth a wonderful palette of tonal color. The instrument volume and tone controls are quiet and very effectively 'fine tune' the timbre to match whatever your needs require. The feel of the rounded fretboard edge is a welcome addition for comfortable playing. The gravity balance of the instrument is very good and tends to stay in place, where you need it to remain. The tuners are smooth in operation and easy to manipulate. I made all setup changes to comform with Fender's recommended specifications. No further adjustments outside of their parameters was required for my needs. In short, regarding my recent purchase of the Fender Player 2 Precision Bass, the instrument has far exceeded my expectations and I can affirm that it provides great value for the money!
