"The perfect guitar for me"
I cannot imagine not to like the product anymore one day. I want to get old with it :-)
however i sure will be looking for other instruments for other reasons which have not to do with dissatisfaction of this instrument.
Sound
It produces wonderful clean sounds as well as very good overdriven sound. For me, those big dipper pick ups really do it. Favorite position for me is neck, there you have really bluesy bassy sounds. For the clean sounds i'd rather use position 4, so between neck and middle pick up, there you get a really crisp bell like sound which I just. I also own a 3tone suburst mayer strat and I have not had the change yet to compare it one to one. Seperated it seems to me that probably due to the thinner lacquer layer it seems to me it sounds a bit better. But cannot really say for sure yet. To finalize, if you dont want to play hard heavy metall stuff, you will like it.
Features
I really like the bag it came with which is kind of a hard soft case. It comes more sporty than a hard one and you can also carry the guitar on the back. so for me it is better than a hard case. inside there is a cable, the golden plate to cover the bridge. also the tremolo comes in gold. for me it's all i need. the cable is a rather normal chaper one.
Ease of Use
It plays very well. if you like rosewood necks you will love this one. it responds well on articulation during playing. with the 5 positions… read more you can use from the pick ups and the tone knobs you can create so many different kind of sounds. I cannot put it away....
Quality
everything seems fine. quality i expect to be great as it is an american fender strat, it will last very long. but there were some scratches on the black finish which i saw right away when i opened it and i was not able to polish them away either. but nothing i would complain about as i will not give it away anymore. but from a new packed instrument i was a bit dissapointed.
Value
For me it was worth it and i would have paid more if it cost more. it looks jsut perfect, it feels and sounds perfect for my taste. so no hesitation. however, there is no doubt that you can get a fender (or other brand) which sounds as good for your ears for half the price. for example highway one strat and put in texas special pick ups or even tex mex pickups sound nice. i always recommend to try several instruments. for me, again, this instrument with all its features is it.
Manufacturer Support
I have never needed to contact them, so I don't rate.
The Wow Factor
It is the most beautiful and sexy guitar i have seen. I am not just saying this because i am happy with it at the moment. it is black, mint green pickguard, golden hardware and the rosewood neck. neck backside color is rather yellowish or orange. A black strat is classy, this one looks even more classy. it shines.
