Overview
The Epiphone Limited Edition Red Royale Collection features three of Epiphone's most popular classics in a beautiful Red Pearl color finish. The striking Red Pearl finish is reminiscent of the first wave of custom colors made by Epiphone in the 1960s and has a warm, deep, scarlet tone that's set off by Epiphone's distinctive Royale Collection Silver Sparkle binding. Each Red Royale Collection instrument features all of the modern, top-shelf pickups and hardware you've come to expect from Epiphone, and of course, a lifetime guarantee. In other words, the Royale Treatment! And now Epiphone's modern classic Wildkat archtop gets the Royale treatment.
The Epiphone Wildkat is a true original, the first new archtop design of the modern era and a certified classic. Epiphone has been a leader in archtop design since the 1930s and was one the first guitar manufactures to recognize that archtop fans needed pickups in their guitars to be heard on bigger stages and in raucous honky tonks. Throughout the '50s and '60s, Epiphone refined the archtop further with classics like the Riviera, the Sheraton, and the Casino.
The Limited Edition Wildkat Red Royale's innovative design has the same classic profile of those vintage Epiphone archtops but made smaller for easier travel. The Wildkat Red Royale features a solid Mahogany body and the Royale Collection's distinctive Silver Sparkle binding on the body and neck.
