this is a great deal for the price ..but try it first ,it might not be what your hoping for ..the sounds dissapointed me..but the sequencing is worth it too ...just chek it out. if you want it ,dont let others opinion's decide for you.
Sound
this is really the only part of this machine i can complain about... most of the presets were dull and lacking feel, accept for a select few(the nylon guitar is great).Alot werent deep or loud enough to use with others and seemed to be genre based and at times cheazy... it was difficult to create original sounds, and the operation manual only discouraged me by actualy refering the z plane filter as "real rocket science"...
Features
GREAT 16 track Sequence: if you desired to you could use this for a center sequencer for your midi crap.its got loads of channels, but only has one midi in (you could use an interface?)..good arpeggs. If your good with teideous menue`s then the synth engine will suit you fine.if your more hands on and like to create fast sounds, there is quick edit with the knobs.but if you only use that youll be very limited of creative, original, costomized sounds.
Quality
for some reason mine freezes when i pass a prest pattern "se jive" ..that sucks ,its probally not common.
Value
its worth what it costs for all of the functions it has... definatly!
The Wow Factor
looks great ,i wouldnt say i lust for looks though.
