Emu Planet Phatt Module (Model 9091)

Designed for hip-hop, acid jazz and trip hop styles, Planet Phatt takes the programs available the Orbit module to a new level. These are funkier, even more energetic and extreme. Loaded with 640 programs, Planet Phatt has some very hip new functions. The Beats mode that E-mu pioneered with the Orbit is now even cooler, with 100 drum loops synchronizable to internal or external MIDI clock. Planet Phatt also provides 32 notes of polyphony, 16 multi-timbral parts, 6 outputs, 17 filters, and tons of editing control.

BEATS Mode - the heart of Planet Phatt

First introduced in Orbit-the Dance Planet, Beats mode has been significantly enhanced in Planet Phatt. It now features 100 drum loops that can be synchronized to either an internal clock or external MIDI clock. There are 28 songs and 28 factory songs available to get you going. Each user song can have ten events linking beats together. Both songs and beats can be accessed from the front panel or remotely using MIDI Song Start/stop and Song select commands.
