2 independent stereo 1/8 in. analog outputs. 8 "Virtual Outputs". 24-bit, 96 kHz audio
Overview
Finally, a portable solution for the digital DJ. Indigo DJ offers two independent stereo 1/8 in. analog outputs; one for setting up your cue mix on a pair of headphones, and the other for the house mix. Each output features 24-bit/96kHz converters for the quality you deserve. Also included is a 6 ft. audio cable for RCA or 1/4 in. connections.
A unique feature of the Indigo DJ is the use of "virtual" outputs. Indigo DJ appears to software as if it has 8 separate outputs, which are digitally mixed down to the physical outputs using Indigo DJ's "console" software and its on-board DSP. This makes Indigo DJ compatible with all popular multi-track software. And, with Echo's "multi-client" drivers, more than one application (such as an editor and a software synth) can be playing back through Indigo DJ at the same time.

"The best investment I ever made for laptop DJing."
Verified Customer

One of the best investments I ever made for my laptop DJ rig. I've gone through 3 seperate controllers in the same amount time that I've used this card. A great, great product.
Sound
I use 128k AAC files for DJing. Not the best quality in theory by any means, but using the Echo Indigo DJ I've had stellar sound quality at every gig I play. Several other DJ's have mentioned that my setup sounds better than most they've heard in the past. Full, loud and clear.
Features
The seperate headphone out with independent volume knob (a hardware dial actually on the card) and seperate mixer out are all I've ever needed to plug in anywhere. There are also a number of inner software tweeks that you can make for lots of creative routing options. Very well done.
Ease of Use
Setup was simple and I've never had to touch it again. Slide the card in, take it out when you're done. Plug and play simplicity.
Quality
This card has performed reliably for nearly 3 years of constant DJing. While I've sometimes had hardware controller or DJ software issues, this card has never given me ANY problems.
Value
This card is expensive, but considering how reliable it's been and the fact that I haven't had to tote around a seperate external audio solution has proved invaluable.
Manufacturer Support
Never needed support online or… read more otherwise. The easy setup instructions and included software were all I ever needed. The reliability of the product has meant that I've never needed customer service.
The Wow Factor
People have commented on my laptop rig for years and all have been impressed with this audio card in particular. Sex appeal? Sure, why not.
