These strings rock. I play in standard B and the original strings on my bass did not accommodate it well. They were too loose, the sound was muddy, and the low string would pop off occasionally. The DR strings have great tension at this low tuning and as a result they have a great sound. Great response on the neck and they tuned in beautifully. I highly recommend these strings to anyone who likes to play low.
