The "Ge/ASYM" mode provides an entirely different asymmetrical even-harmonic distortion characteristic made possible by employing a vintage Germanium diode. The third toggle selection is a "LIFT" mode which eliminates diode clipping entirely from the signal path, providing the ability to have a clean boost, or even a dirty boost as you clip the vintage LM741 op amp at higher gain settings.

This limited-edition model has a striking industrial design with its metal flake gray finish and bright yellow silkscreen hearkening back to the vintage gray and yellow color scheme of the original.
