The Classic Series wouldn't be complete without the aggressive V! Since 1977 the V has been a staple to Dean guitars and this model is true to its roots at an affordable price. Eastern Mahogany body and set neck construction offer all the warm tones and sustain needed for any player. The V 79 is loaded with DMT Series Time Capsule pickups to bring back the nostalgia of the original while being able to play all the music of today's styles. A bound body and bound Indian rosewood fingerboard ties it all together.

I have to say that I am really impressed with this guitar! Fit, finish, playability & sound are all very high quality. Very good fret job resulting in low action. Great sustain. The pickups are clear & articulate even when gained up. The neck is stable & strait. There is no neck dive. The guitar balances perfectly on the strap. It looks awesome! The quality of the V-79 rivals that of guitars costing 3 or 4 times as much. Very satisfied customer here & of course zZounds customer service was awesome.
