The pain of the poor switches caused me a lot of heartache. Dean really destroyed what I think about them. This guitar is great, but I'll never buy a Dean again unless I can open it up and take a look. I even had a scratch in it from the shipping, which really had me upset. Don't get me wrong I still love it, but come on, for something this expensive they should have TRIED to care.

Sound
The sound was great. one of the most beautiful sounding 12 string electrics I've ever heard.

Features
switches suck, and only has the basic 1 tone, 1 volume control (for both necks) but otherwise has nice components and such.

Ease of Use
for a double-neck, it was the most easy guitar to play. Once you get over having a second neck there, it becomes really easy

Quality
Everything was great on it except the cheap toggle switches. It may sound stupid, but the thing actually died on me after having it for only 20 minuets. I opened the back to see if it was worth sending of to a professional or if it was just a weak solder joint, and the thing broke in two pieces, the cheapest switch I've ever seen. Using a little epoxy it went back together, and then 3 solder joints popped off, as well as the pin the thing rotates on bending and becoming useless. Great guitar, but be prepared for a toggle switch to break on you, and when it does, take it to a professional and have him REPLACE read more it with something much higher quality.

Value
you'll end up paying money to fix it, would buy it again but not for this price.

Manufacturer Support
They were really helpful, but want you to send it back to Dean for any repair and you have to pay the shipping to get it there.

The Wow Factor
It's really a beautiful guitar, the picture does it no justice.
