Darkglass Duality Dual Fuzz Engine Pedal

No longer available at zZounds
Blend the Duality Dual Fuzz Engine's two discrete circuits of aggressive, gated sawtooth fuzz and high-fain fuzz to dial in your ideal custom tone.

The Siamese Twins. The Duality is a unique fuzz pedal that contains two discrete fuzz circuits--a gated saw-tooth wave and a raunchy high-gain sound--which can be mixed together to yield a vast selection of distinct sonic textures.

Features:

- Level: Sets the volume of the overdriven signal.
- Filter: Controls the amount of high frequency content in the fuzz signal.
- Blend: Mixes the clean input signal with the overdriven signal. The clean signal remains at unity gain while the volume of the overdriven signal is set by the Level knob, allowing for fine control of the blend ratio.
- Duality: Mixes two discrete fuzz circuits. Set it at minimum for a pure gated saw-tooth wave, or crank it up for a tighter high gain fuzz.
- WARNING: The Duality has a current draw of 20mA. Only use a regulated 9V DC adapter with a center-negative plug. Due to ecological reasons it does not accept batteries. Unregulated power supplies and/or higher voltages may result in suboptimal noise performance and even damage your unit, voiding the warranty.

- Dimensions: (L x W x H) 4 x 3 x 3”
- Weight: 1 lb

I don't usually take time to write product reviews but this pedal rocks so hard I had to say something. The two fuzz circuits are really unique compared to other fuzz pedals out there. I love being able to blend the old school synthy-fuzz with the modern 4 stage distortion. This is easily my favorite pedal now. You can get some really useful/tasteful tones or some really psychedelic sounds depending on how you set it. Also it works really good with my active Music Man bass. Some of the other fuzz boxes I tried didn't respond well to the active pickups in my bass but the Darkglass kills it. This pedal always ends up in my gig bag now. Do yourself a favor and check it out!

Musical Background:

I have played bass for about 11 years.

Musical Style:

I love rock, metal, and jazz! Trip-hop is also my jam.
