Overview

The first signature model in D'Angelico's solid-body collection is now available in the Premier Series. Featuring Weir's concept of a tonal powerhouse, the Premier Bob Weir Bedford hosts two Seymour Duncan Designed P-90s with a SC-101 single-coil nestled in the middle, plus a six-point tremolo. A standard five-way blade makes tone control easy, while an added blender pot blends the neck and bridge pickups (or all three pickups in the notch positions) resulting in a remarkable variety of tones.

My first guitar that I bought through zZounds. The guitar arrived in perfect shape. The guitar itself is a just as Mr. Weir describes in the video describing his signature premier guitar. It is slightly on the heavier side (I think mine is about 8.5 lbs). The tonal variations possible from the functionality of the five way switch combined with the blender pots and coil splitting makes it really quite a fascinating machine (breath in, breath out), if your into that sort of thing. I enjoy it considerably, having it available. (~};)
