"I Love This Keyboard"
i've owned my LK-50 for almost 2 year's, and it's the best keyboard ever! It sound's great, and the keys LIGHT UP. It can teach you to play, with a VERY easy lesson system. If you can find this anywhere, BUY IT!! (I got very lucky with mine, because it was brand new!)
Sound
The sound quality is awesome, the grand piano sound's SO real! I also love the drum set's, there are 9 different tones, where the keys only make drum sound's. There are a few sound's, that don't sound too real, such as the gunshot. Overall, this keyboard has great sound.
Features
One of the best feature's of this keyboard, is that it can teach you to play songs, using the lighted key's. On the display, it show's you, what finger your meant to use, on that particular note. Other than that, it has 137 tone's, 100 beat's, and 100 built in song's, which you can learn!
Ease of Use
This keyboard is pretty easy to use, as well as the instruction's, that come with it. If you don't know how to play piano, this keyboard can help you learn. It has a 3-step piano lesson, where it light's the keys in advance. On step 1, it wait's until you hit any key, and it will play. I dunno why they let you hit any key, but I suppose, it's probably to learn the timing. On step 2, the song wait's, until you hit right key, meanwhile it's lit up. On step 3, you've probably learned the timing of the song, so if you don't play anything, the song… read more continue's, without the melody. It's SO easy to learn song's.
Quality
The keyboard seem's to be well made, it's still plastic, but the speaker's are metal. It will probably last for at least 20 year's, I hope it last's for as long as i'm alive!
Value
Well I don't know it's normal selling price, if they even sell LK-50's these day's. I paid only 50 dollars for mine, and it was BRAND NEW!! It even came with a metal stand, and a power cord. For what I paid, it was obviously worth the price!
Manufacturer Support
I haven't had to deal with casio, i've never had a problem with this keyboard. So I give it 2 1/2 star's.
The Wow Factor
This keyboard look's really cool, and what can i say? The keys light up! Of course, I can make good music without it, but I wanted it, because of the good sound, and the light up key's. it's the best keyboard i've ever owned! I suggest it to anyone who want's to learn.
Musical Background:
i've played piano since i was 2 or 3 year's old, and i also play the recorder. I just play at home, and take piano lesson's.
Musical Style:
Rock, country, electronic, and just about anything, EXCEPT for justin bieber, or any other annoying teeny bopper crap. read less
