We won't be needing another general keyboard for a long time. Our next purchase will be an 88 key piano. We were very impressed with the sounds and features of this keyboard, and the price made it one of the few we considered.
Sound
Very good sounds. Smooth, authentic sounding pianos (better than you'd expect for a fairly low cost keyboard), usable organs, good percussion. The built-in lesson/TV feature turned out to be less useful than we anticipated, but over-all it's a sweet keyboard.
Features
The built-in songs and the TV/lesson feature are not very useful as instruction avenues. But it's well laid out in terms of controls, functions and sound organization & access.
Ease of Use
Intuitive interface, easy to get good sounds. Stereo piano used with the built in speakers is particularly impressive.
Quality
It's very well made for a budget keyboard. No problems out of the box, seems to be holding up well. Good quality built-in speakers. We'll be using it for gigs as well as home recording and keyboard lessons.
Value
Definitely worth the money.
Manufacturer Support
Haven't needed any contact w/Casio, so we don't have an opinion about their customer service. We did however need to get help from Zzounds (the first one was damaged in shipping) and we are EXTREMELY pleased with all of our dealings with Zzounds. Thanx again, guys!
The Wow Factor
It DOES look and sound good, but we got it more for its features than its 'wow' factor.
