Ziricote is similar to Brazilian rosewood in density and appearance, growing in southern Mexico and Central America. It's beautiful appearance has been enhanced with fresh appointments, African ebony fretboards and bridges, and upgraded LR Baggs EAS VTC, eliminating the previous shoulder mounted electronics.

I took a gamble on this guitar and ordered it after researching as much as possible. The gamble paid off. Breedlove has a winner here. This guitar projects a well balanced sound unplugged. I tested the LR Baggs pickup into my Turbosound 500 pristine highs and lows. No quacky piezo pickup sound. Thanks Zzounds!
