"This Guitar Blows Me Away."

Only time will tell how long it holds up. I play in some harsh environments and tend to be kind of hard on instruments. Ask me in a year about long term satisfaction. Right now though? I'm thinking about ordering the rosewood model.
Sound
I play guitar and sing for a living. I own several high-end acoustic guitars. The low-end sound rivals my old Guild D55, the high end sparkles like my Taylor 614ce. I do most of my own basic setup. I got this guitar BY UPS! and when I threw it on the strobe tuner the intonation was as close to perfect as I have ever seen on an acoustic or electric. The overall balance (once you change the phospher bronze strings to good ol' 80/20s) is incredible. Really will blow you away.
Features
The case it comes with is excellent, so is the allen wrench. I use L.R. Baggs M1 Active in a few of my guitars. The Baggs system that comes with this guitar isn't that good. The attack is way to aggressive, and it doesn't do a good balanced job or represnting the way the guitar sounds unplugged. I use a L.R. Baggs preamp system to dial it in and it sounds good. I may still change it to the M1 Active though. A guitar that plays and sounds like this should have a pickup that does it justice. I think body sensors are essential for this guitar.
Ease of Use
The neck and action are incredible. The setup from the factory was dead on. Using mediums alot of my fellow… read more players think it's strung with lights. The neck is true from the first fret to the last fret NO FRET BUZZ! I got the Breedlove about 2 weeks ago and have played it as my main guitar at all my gigs since I got it, so that 10 or 12 shows. Can go from fingerstyle to flatpicking without changing guitars.
Quality
No visible glue in the joints. Every seam is tight. Nut and saddle perfectly setup for the string gauge. Intonation dead on. Finish is perfect. This is not a flashy guitar. It is a guitar perfectly put together.
Value
This thing was only $1,200.00! There is NO WAY these guys are going to keep being able to offer the American series for long at the price they are charging. This thing is built like it came from the Taylor or Guild custom shops. It is entirely made in the USA from solid hardwoods. It has a lifetime warranty. I have a bunch of guitars that I love. None at this price range.
Manufacturer Support
Called the mfg twice for simple questions. One about warranty registration, one call was to confirm string gauge specs. Each time the phone was answered with no menus or bull-crap. Each time the person who answered the phone spoke perfect English. Each time the person who answered the phone was able to answer my question without transferring my call or putting me on hold. They actually knew the answer to my question and were confident and polite.
The Wow Factor
The Custom shop style bridge and head design make it look "unique". And I think in a cool way. It's so well built that you can't help but notice the craftsmanship. But it's not a flashy guitar, but neither is a Martin D28.
