I don’t like menus, don’t have time to waste brain cells on menus. So, Blackstar has delivered the new Silverline with Celestion V type speakers. This stereo 2x12 100-watt amp is sweet tone city. Easy to use, IDFS10 footswitch is definite must have, and easy to work in studio, on stage etc. I prefer the 6L6 preamp, and the effects sound wet and have a wide field in stereo. Best amp in its class for the money. In my opinion Blackstar hit a homerun, I tried the others in this class and they all suck, this one has mojo. A working man’s amp without all the extra expense of pedals, but amp does have effects loop if you want to use it. Also, the Insider software lets you update the firmware if needed and you can do deep dive into editing of the amp if you choose. I have not used it yet, don’t know if I will.
