Designed for incredibly comfortable listening. With a lightweight honeycomb aluminum casing and magnesium frame structure, Audio-Technica ATH-AD500X open-air headphones produce no sense of pressure on the ears, offering a completely natural listening experience. Its recently-designed 53 mm drivers with CCAW voice coils reproduce remarkably natural sound, with impactful bass and outstanding vocal projection. The self-adjusting wing support automatically adjusts to your head size. A straight OFC cable at the left earpiece terminates to a mini plug with included 1/4" adapter.

"Great sound bad cord"

I love the sound of these, they don't have the best highs, and the lows are decent, and the sound stage is kinda close but the overall sound with the mids is pretty good, along with the stereo imaging. The bad part is the cord though. It's non-detachable and the connection in the end of the cable where it connects to the base of the 3.5mm jack sheath( where these cords always seem to break first) is already giving me problems after less than one month of use. Not sure of manufacturer support so I gave 3 stars, they could be great but I don't know at the moment.
