Verge is a small-diaphragm modeling microphone suited for both nuanced accuracy and high SPL recording. Also exhibiting excellent performance on its own, it can take on the character and personality of the world's best small-diaphragm condensers and electrets.

The true voices of vintage microphones

Inside the FPGA Accusonic 3D modeling engine you can transform both Edge and Verge into vintage replicas, giving you complete control over proximity effect, off-axis response and even allow you to change polar patterns during or after recording. Choose from a collection of classic and expensive microphones and track the results as you monitor live, bringing out a musician's best possible performance.

Can be transformed into a vintage replica via the Antelope Audio Mic Emulation Packs.

Vintage Mic Emulations:

Berlin 184 is a small-diaphragm condenser microphone and your top choice when recording cymbals, brass or percussion. It comes with a capsule with a cardioid polar pattern and can handle both extreme sound pressure levels, and subtle dynamics from acoustic instruments. It will suit both the rock'n'roll life and the chamber or orchestral setting. Signature read more German precision and sound is guaranteed.

Perth 55 is a small-diaphragm, true-condenser cardioid microphone with an omnidirectional capsule. It's very suitable for recording acoustic instruments, overheads and live performances.

Freiburg 6 -- No off-axis noise, no feedback, no unwanted audio signal in your recording. Instead, the cardioid Freiburg 6 microphone is focused on capturing voice or musical instruments with enviable attention to detail and no coloration whatsoever.

"Great Small Condenser Mics...With and Without the Modeling!"

I picked up a pair of these to use in a number of places. I'm combining these with the Edge Duo I ordered at the same time. So far, they sound great on acoustic guitar, and the mic models are very useful. Next up, I will be making some Kemper profiles. Definitely recommend!
