Imagine you could have an amp with a real vintage sound -- without all the weight and awkwardness of some of the older amps. The Ampeg B100R is just that. It gives you all the vintage sound you can handle with a single 15" driver, and Blue Diamond covering gives it the vintage look. Thanks to solid-state design, the weight is lower.

The Rocket Bass models (B-100R and B-50R) are the contemporary counterparts to the Portaflex: still the same warm tone and simple controls, using solid-state technology for light weight and maintenance-free reliability. The 100-watt B-100R is equipped with a custom-designed vintage 15" driver, and the baby brother 50-watt B-50R employs a vintage 12" driver.

I don't have anyplans to get anything new, but i will say this, when/ if i get a new amp, i will be purhcasing from ampeg again.
Sound
IT has amazing sound, it makes my bass sound much better than the old crate i was using. Everyone was like wow in the room when i fired it up to play. It has great use for the music i play, such as Rock, sometimes funk solos, it is perfect.
Features
No accessories included, but what is there really helps, if u adjust the gain to master volume properly, it helps it sound extremely well.
Quality
Just picking it up i said, wow this is awesome. It looks really cool too, the tolex is just sweet. I don't need a back up with this, it would sit around and collect dust forever
Value
It is perfectly priced for what features you get. it is wonderful, and i am sure that i will not have anyproblems with it.

From the time i pluged in, i was hooked, there was no way i was going home without this amp.
