It operates in the UHF (Ultra-High Frequency) band from 710 MHz to 865 MHz and is ideally suited for small stages, clubs, touring, places of worship, hotels, fitness centers, etc. The WMS 40 uses highly selective SAW filters and advanced circuitry to ensure interference-free operation and excellent audio even under difficult conditions. Each WMS 40 operates on a fixed frequency and is extremely easy to set up.

I bought 4 of these mics, each with their own frequency. None of the singers we have are bothered by the shape of the microphone, they think it's sleek and modern. The color coded tabs are wonderous! The AV crew had no problem setting up these microphones, and with such a long battery life, they outlasted some Shures we had added on for a supplement.
