The 414ce studio is the entry level, all-solid, U.S. made instrument in the 400 series from Taylor Guitars. The 414ce studio employs all solid Indian rosewood back and sides and pairs it with an all solid torrefied Sitka spruce top. The Grand Auditorium body shape is Taylor's most versatile body shape, perfect for fingerstyle to light to moderate strumming. Also an exceptional choice for stage, recording, or anyone looking for a guitar that can handle a variety of applications.

Rosewood is known for its deep midrange and clear top end with a scooped out midrange, perfect for a variety of playing styles. The solid torrefied Sitka spruce top gives the player a wide frequency range suitable for a myriad of applications. Premium features include a torrefied spruce top with shaded edge burst finish, rounded body edges with black and white top edge trim, an all-gloss body, a nut width of 1-11/16 inches, 4mm dot fretboard inlays (Italian acrylic), a faux tortoiseshell pickguard, award winning V-Class bracing, and ebony fingerboard and bridge. Guitar is equipped with award winning Expression 2 active electronics and ships in a tan, structured gig bag.
