I've been involved with recording and production for a while now and I'm very pleased with the purchase! This is a solid product, The sound is crystal clear! The preamps are VERY quiet, even when cranked all the way up, and the conversion produces very detailed sound. There is no real way to describe how something sounds, but truly; the Clarett 8 Pre by Focusrite is about as perfect an interface as you could ever dream of for a $799.00. I'm very happy buying here at zZounds!

I am SUPER SATISFIED with this purchase. This is my upgrade from clarett 2pre. I use it along with scarlett octopre to expand up to 16 channels via ADAT with no problem at all. The main attractive of this inteerface is its capability to get very low latency wich is absolutely true! love the preamps! love its finish. This is a very nice rack unit interface. (thunderbolt). Reccomended! will still be getting focusrite products!
