Excellent sound. Drives 6 headphones to a high volume. Handles low impedance headphones. Seems solidly built. I recommend it.

Sound
Clean and clear. I hooked this up to an audiophile quality stereo via the unbalanced RCA inputs. The sound is as beautiful and full as if I plug directly into the headphone jack of the preamplifier. Tried it with a variety of headphones: Grado, Sennheiser, Audio Technica, etc. All sound their best. I actually bought the RA62b. I don't think it differs much from the original RA62.

Features
Has exactly what I want and nothing more to get in the way. It has balanced XLR input, the ability to handle low impedance headphones, its discrete output stages have enough current capacity to drive all six output lines loudly. Including both 1/4 inch and 1/8 jacks is a really nice touch. The power supply is an internal one. The power cord is not detachable. I took one point off on my rating for features, because it would be nice if it had metering.

Ease of Use
The product is trivial to understand. Everything is simple and sensible. The manual is extremely brief. Maybe they could provide a little better manual for novice users. A pro will never need it.

Quality
Seems very well made. The controls have a smooth feel to them. The case is made of steel. It's made in the USA.

Value
Compare the quality and price read more with a Furman and you'll see that this is a great value. Behringer has less expensive units, but they either have only 4 channels or won't drive low impedance headphones.

Manufacturer Support
I don't know.

The Wow Factor
I don't think it looks particularly sexy. It sounds great and does what it's supposed to.
