The Ibanez AEL1512E is a Jumbo style 12-string acoustic guitar with built-in pickup that reproduces the big body sound with control and accuracy. Sporting a beautiful spruce top and maple back and sides add brightness and clarity to balance the naturally warm, round tone created by a Jumbo body style. This solid performer also includes a rosewood bridge and fretboard, black & white multi rosette and chrome die-cast tuners. Electronics include a Fishman Sonicore pickup partnered with an Ibanez SPTII Shape Shifter preamp with built-in tuner. This system beautifully reproduces the full, lush sound that only a 12-string can create.

I ordered the guitar on a Saturday and it arrived at my door on Tuesday. Awesome! However, the finish was cracked from the control module down to the strap pin. What a shame! Such a beautiful guitar. I contacted zZounds and talked with an associate that was as concerned as I was. He hooked me right up with a return label that I printed out. I packed it back up and took it to the UPS store that Saturday and believe it or not, my replacement came on Tuesday. It was perfect! Its a beautiful guitar and plays great. But zZounds was awesome in the return process. What great customer service they have. I have no fear doing business with these folks. I will continue.

Musical Background:

Playing for a long time, did the band thing, play guitars, fender, epi, ibenez. Now just jam with my buds when we can.
