The Gibson Limited Edition J45 Koa Acoustic Electric Guitar yields incredible looks and fantastic tonal response thanks to its Koa back and sides and Sitka Spruce top. Koa blends the midrange of mahogany with the top end of maple and tonally opens up beautifully over time. Gibson also gives the J45 Koa 3-ply top binding, single ply back binding, Indian Rosewood fingerboard and LR Baggs Element pickup for incredible sound when amplified.

"Great J45 with some extras!"

We had an extremely cold winter with a lot of low humidity. I was a bit concerned I may end up with a dried up possibly cracked Gibson because of this but it showed up untuned, in excellent UNPLAYED condition. I give Zzounds the credit for this. I'm sure they must keep their acoustics humidified properly. Everything about the guitar is beautiful. No glue slop inside the body. Mine did not need a setup. Guitar sounds fantastic. No complaints.
