Unless you want to play your kit with scavenged kitchen utensils, you need drumsticks. These are drumsticks, good drum sticks.

This pack of 2B sticks represents the perfect quality-to-value ratio. It's available in bricks of 12 pairs because A. it's cheaper that way and B. you know you'd go through 11 pairs in like, one metal show. These hickory sticks are big and beefy for the heavy hitters and come in both wood or nylon tip versions.

As a working musician who plays out several times a week, I'm a satisfied customer. I'll be buying another brick just before I reduce the current one to sawdust and splinters.
Sound
The Nova Sticks by Vic Firth are very good for the price. Although within the brick of sticks you might find a dud or two that will break pretty easily, over all it is still a good investment.
Ease of Use
If you are a Drummer, they will be pretty easy for you to use. Even a non-drummer should be able to figure out how they work.
Quality
They fit in my hand, and they are good for hitting Drums and Cymbals. Overall, they are a good investment, although you might get one or two bad sticks within the brick.
Value
They are a Good Buy
