Turn your Rockabilly swing up a notch with this single cutaway electric guitar, which features Duncan FG-101 pickups and Bigsby Vibrato for vintage twang.
Overview
This exceptional instrument blends some of Schecter's original designs with some classic features, making the Schecter Solo Vintage an exceptional instrument for guitarists.
This set neck mahogany bodied beauty features Schecter's Ultra Access, so those 'be-bopish' rockabilly licks can wind and twist all the way up those 22 medium frets. The unconventional, but the utterly cool single cutaway is enhanced by Schecter's own body style, making this guitar stand out on the bandstand. Duncan Designed FG-101 pickups come stock, and bring all the rumble and snarl of vintage rockin guitars. Overdrive these pickups a little and turn your rockabilly hot rod into a punkabilly muscle car. A coil tap feature and 3 way switch provides a wide variety of tones for any musical setting.
A Bigsby B-50 Vibrato is also stock on these beauties, and provides some real twang and spark to these sweet guitars. Finish out these rock n roll machines with multi-ply creme binding, and gorgeous sunburst, cherry, or gloss black finishes. The Schecter Solo Vintage updates a classic American sound and vibe for today's swinging cats.

Im pretty sure this will be my main and favorite guitar for quite some time, Im very happy with it.
Sound
This is only the second electric I've owned. In comparison to my bolt-on neck floyed rose guitar this Schecter's tone pleases me. I put 12g jazz strings on right away and this gives the guitar a thick sweet tone when i tune to Eb. I was impressed with all the different sounds i could get out of it with the coil-tap and tone dial. I really like the neck pickup both in humbucker and single coil modes, it rarely gets muddy with my AC15. The bigsby was a hassle for me at first but once i put thicker strings on it and widen my nut slots the bigsby really shined! I had so much fun with this vibrato.
Features
All pretty high quality parts for this price range. They complimented the bigsby well with the tusq nut and grover tuners. The amount of tones you can get with the coil-tapable pickups is a big part of value of these Schecters and one of my favorite features.
Ease of Use
Took my a little while to figure out the bigsby and the nut gave me a few troubles but everything worked fine i just had to tinker with it!
Quality
Im very satisfied with the finish and over all quality of the guitar. The only real issue i had with the hardware was a tuner that was a little loose but easily tightened. The nut seemed to have a deep slot for the 'g' string, nut that made… read more it unplayable or anything, just something i noticed.
Value
Can't really say much more on value, i personally find it quite valuable. It provided all the tones i could want to play with and had a nice feature set and good looks!
Manufacturer Support
Haven't had to use it yet!
The Wow Factor
I was very into the style of the this guitar, i knew i wanted a single cut away set necked guitar with vibrato and coil-tap and my goodness i found a sexy one too!
