The cutting edge of Ibanez design, the S421 electric guitar, continues to be a marvel of form and function. Its signature body shape -- sculpted, lightweight, and mahogany -- is stronger and more musically responsive than guitars weighing twice as much. Though no longer called by its original name, the Saber, the S series is still a rock version of that quick, graceful guitar.

Archtop Body

Archtop body not only provides a warmer tone but contributes to picking hand support.

Bridge

Each saddle is designed with a comfortable smooth top. The Gibraltar Standard bridge combines rock solid construction with fine tuning capability. The low-profile design of the Gibraltar Standard bridge offers maximum playing comfort.

Neck

The Wizard III Maple neck is fast, flat and thin for speed and player comfort.

Pickups

The INF1 neck pickup is versatile and responsive, with warm classic tone and added output. The INF2 bridge pickup has enhanced mid-range output, with Alnico-5 magnet for individual string clarity and excellent dynamics.

This guitar from Ibanez is a beautiful and awsome guitar! This is the first Ibanez I've owned and what great guitars they make! I'm a huge ESP fan and have a collection going, but this guitar came right out of the box, ready to play and was almost in tune as well! I'm going to lower the action just a bit more, but almost perfect out of the box. It's thin, made of mahogany, Wizaed lll neck, fast and thin, % way switch and loaded with 2 Infinity pups. This guitar is very well made and a must for Ibanez fans, plays real sweet!!! Just wish it came in colors and pup choices. The first thing I'm doing is getting some new pups for it, it doesn't make that "crunch" that I live for, I'm a Heavy Metal musician, so I need that "crunch".

Hard Rock and of course, my favorite, Heavy Metal!!!!!
