I bought this acoustic-electric guitar as a back-up to my high end Alvarez AAA... What I found was a guitar that surprised my ears and hands as soon as I got it out of the box... The guitar has great tonal projection and a clean/crisp - tight/bright sound to it with the bass tones not as obvious but there is still a good blend of tonal quality.. I have owned several guitars in this quality/price range and this model blows them away in sound and playability. The action and intonation were right on out of the box and no adjustments were required to enjoy the guitar. Fret dressing is good and smooth which enhances the feel of the neck.. One reason I really enjoy the guitar is the matte finsh that it has over the body and neck... It makes the neck easier to navigate and the sound projection greater I think.. Just a personal preference I know - but it adds to this guitar... The fishman electronics get the job done - but lack an EQ to really dial in... Overall it sounds great and I would recommend the guitar to anyone who wants a nice low to mid-range quality guitar that sounds and plays great... In my opinion this model is better than most of its competition.. On a final note - the gig bag that comes with the guitar is not a good protector - it is pretty thin and not well padded... Make sure you get something a bit more sturdy to shell this instrument...
